2008 was a busy year for Chameleon Software with the roll out of Case
Manager Version 3. The response has been extremely positive.
Here are just a few ways Case Manager V3 has been improved to make
your life easier.
Forget about scanning documents received via email that relate
to a Case Manager file, the ability to drag and drop any external
document from your desktop or Windows Explorer onto the
documentation tab is now available in V3 and our clients couldn't be
happier. Case Manager V3 will store the document (or a copy of the
document) in the Case Manager Document directory. It is therefore
easy to see all the related correspondence (eg. emails, pdf received
from external sources)
Cases can now be sorted and selected to suit the information
required as well as company requirements. This in turn reduces the
time it takes to locate a case. Some of the ways that cases can be
sorted are:
Filter button - Narrows your search and saves time looking for a
case.
Group by Box - Narrows search by grouping cases by chosen heading.
Footer button - shows the total number of entries being displayed.
With the flexibility of information that can be selected and
displayed (as above) another new feature, the Export to Excel button
converts the information displayed to an Excel document where it can
be saved, manipulated, printed and/or emailed.
