Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is any data that could potentially identify a specific individual. Examples of PII include a person’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, driver’s licence number, or other personal information.

This type of information is occasionally sent to the Chameleon Software Team as part of a Support Request.

To reduce risk and improve data security, the Support Team will not work on any requests that contain PII. If PII data is received, the ticket will be immediately deleted and we will request the sender to lodge a new ticket with PII removed.

Under certain circumstances, we understand that PII data may be visible alongside other information for troubleshooting purposes. In this scenario, we request that the Personally Identifiable Information be censored prior to sending it to us.

Likewise, our processes also ensure that the Support Team will never attach documents or screenshots containing PII data from Case Manager in our replies.

This approach ensures that PII data will not be stored in our ticketing system.
